LACEY AGNEW

Raised in suburbs of Atlanta, the 24-year-old started playing golf when she was only 11. She quickly picked up the game and made her high school golf team at Woodward Academy. She blossomed her senior year as she led her team to a third state championship and was state individual runner-up. Her play garnered the attention of schools across the country. She picked Florida State University to continue her college career. Her game continued to grow in the collegiate ranks. Lacey notched six top 10 finishes and tied the Seminole school record with a low round of 65. Her play earned her selection to play in Asia. She earned her LPGA Tour card for the 2012 season.

Daughter of Wes and Janet Agnew.
Graduated from Woodward Academy in 2006.
Graduated from Florida State University in 2010 with a degree in sports management.

HIGH SCHOOL
Led Woodward Academy (Georgia) to three consecutive Class AAAA State Championships during her sophomore, junior and senior years. Finished as the runner-up in individual medal play as a senior and was named rookie-of-the-year as a freshman on a team that finished runner-up in the state tournament. Lacey also played basketball where she was the starting guard. She helped lead the team to three regional championships and four state tournament appearances. She earned 10 varsity letters during her career – four in golf, four in baseball and one each in volleyball and softball.

COLLEGE
Lacey was a four-year varsity letter winner at FSU. She was an All-ACC selection as a senior as she led FSU to a 10th place finish at the NCAA Championship finals in 2010. As captain of the FSU team during her senior year, she led the team three team victories and won an individual championship at the Pinehurst Challenge. She played in a career-high 12 events and posted a stroke average of 75.06. Lacey played in one NCAA Championship final, two NCAA regional championships and two ACC Championships during her career. Her career best round was in 2009 when she carded a 65 at the Cougar Classic. Was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in each of her sophomore, junior and seniors seasons. She finished her senior season ranked No. 22 by GolfWeek Magazine.

PROFESSIONAL
Lacey has been able to participate in a handful of LPGA Futures Tour events since leaving FSU. Her breakthrough came at the 2012 LPGA Qualifying Tournament. She finished tied for 20th which gained her provisional status on the LPGA Tour and full-exempt status on the Symetra Tour (formerly the Futures Tour).
